Cloudflare Launches First AI Bot Marketplace
July 1, 2025 - Cloudflare now blocks all AI bots by default and requires payment for web scraping access through a new "Pay-to-Crawl" marketplace.
Website owners can now monetize their content, with Cloudflare handling payments between publishers and AI companies. This ends the era of free data collection for AI training.
